  • Remediation Reminder: The deadline to complete work for courses with Deferred Standing is December 21, 2018. The last date to drop Fall/Winter 2017-2018 full-year or Winter 2018 term courses without academic penalty is January 10, 2019, and the last date to apply for Tuition Credit Opportunity from dropped Fall/Winter 2017-2018 and Winter 2018 courses is January 16, 2019.

  • IMPORTANT DATE! The last day of classes and the last day of the Course Withdrawal Period is Tuesday, December 4.

Out & About On Campus

  • Please be advised that the flags on the York University Keele and Glendon campuses will be flying half-mast from sunrise to sunset on Thursday, December 6 to observe the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

  • York University will be hosting our remembrance event on Monday, December 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the First Floor Café in the Bergeron Centre for Engineering Excellence. A light lunch will be provided.

  • Music @ Midday: Instrumental Masterclass in Concert. Students in the Department of Music’s Wind Masterclass perform at the Tribute Communities Recital Hall, Accolade East Building, Monday, December 3, 12:30 to 2:30pm.

  • Canadian Writers in Person: Get up close and personal with poet Stevie Howell, author of I left nothing inside on purpose. Tuesday, December 4, 7 to 10pm, 206 Accolade West Building.

  • WELLNESS TIP: You cannot sustain your energy on coffee, sugary food and energy drinks. Make sure you take time to eat properly, bring healthy snacks when you study and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

  • Join the 2018 Student Experience Design Team! Work with staff and your student peers to improve the student experience at York. Deadline for applications has been extended to December 10!

  • The deadline for the President’s Ambassador Program application for first-year students is Monday, December 3, 2018. Students selected for the program will attend several institutional and community events, including alumni receptions and government announcements.

  • York University Student Transit Survey: We encourage you to complete this survey by the York Federation of Students (YFS) in an effort to gather more data around student transit use and explore the possibility of a Universal Transit Pass.
