Applications for the Winter Term of the President’s Ambassador Program are open. Designed to provide York students with a unique perspective on the University, the program offers opportunities for current students to serve as representatives of York at a number of institutional and community events, and to share their experiences as York students with fellow students, staff, faculty and alumni. Application deadline: Friday, December 13. Interviews will take place in January.

Learn about all of York’s different graduate studies opportunities, the best ways to prepare while you’re pursuing your undergrad, as well as the ins and outs of the application process! National Day of Remembrance & Action on Violence Against Women. Join us and in honouring the 14 victims of the École Polytechnique massacre in Montreal. A workshop entitled “Toxic Masculinity is a Choice - How do I make the Right Choices?” to follow. RSVP today at the link above. Tuesday, December 3. Memorial runs from 11 a.m. to noon, workshop runs from noon to 1 p.m.
The President's Creative Writing Awards. Get writing! The Creative Writing Department, Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies and The Office of the President are looking for original pieces in the following genres: poetry, short fiction, screenplay and stage-play. Open to all undergraduate students, you can submit work to more than one category, but may only submit one work per genre. Best entry for each genre gets $400! Submission deadline: Monday, January 13, 2020, 5 p.m.
Mature Student Connect (Café Hour). Come and experience a warm and inviting atmosphere where you can meet and connect with other mature students on campus. Tuesday, December 3, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Atkinson Centre for Mature and Part-Time Students.

International Student Holiday Party. Join York International and the Global Community and take a break from studying for exams to begin the festivities of the winter holiday season! Announcement: Effective January 2019 Canada Revenue Agency replaced the T2202A form with a new T2202 form that requires York University to include your Social Insurance Number (SIN) on your form. Please ensure you have provided your SIN in your Student Personal Information record by February 1, 2020.
