  • Fall/Winter 2019-2020 course and program fees, which will be impacted by the provincial government’s Student Choice Initiative, are now available on the Student Financial Services’ Fees webpage. The Non-Essential Supplementary Fee Opt-Out Form will be available on Thursday, August 15.   • Employment Opportunity: The Division of Students Communications & Marketing Team is hiring for the Work/Study positions of Digital Communications Assistant and Web Development Assistant for the Fall/Winter academic session. International Connections

  • International Student Pre-Arrival Online Workshop: Pack Your Bags: Pre Arrival Checklist. York International’s multilingual and multicultural team of senior international students called Global Liaisons lead a series of online information session throughout the summer term. Tuesday, August 13, 9 a.m.

  • Are you a new international student or an upper-year student who wants to help new international students? York International's Global Peer Program is for you! Upper-year students who wish to participate in the program as a peer supporter can sign up here. Peer Supporter application deadline: Thursday, August 15, 4 p.m. Decisions will be communicated via email by Thursday, August 22.

  • International Student Advising. York International’s advisors can assist you with your questions on matters of immigration including study permit, work permit, visas, permanent residence, etc. This service is available in person, by phone or by email. Drop-ins are available from Monday to Thursday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and on Fridays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

  • Attention International Students: York University is now partnered with two providers (CIBC and Western Union Business Solutions) who offer secure online portals to easily make payments to York U.

  • Coffee Break @ The Global Café: Join York International for a Coffee Break in the Global Café. Meet new and old friends, ask senior students and York International staff questions about York U or Toronto and relax and enjoy a treat and beverage.   • Changes to Parking: The university has changed its campus parking enforcement process to improve efficiency, effectiveness and fairness to everyone using York U’s parking operations. As the new process takes effect, the University is offering individuals with outstanding tickets an opportunity to settle their accounts by way of a ticket relief program, available until September 2019.
