Important Dates

  • Fall classes will begin on Wednesday, September 6.

  • Undergraduate course enrolment fees. Payments for fall term courses and half of full year courses are due Sunday, September 10.

  • Add/Drop deadlines. The deadline to drop courses for a full refund is Tuesday, September 12. The deadline to add a course without instructor permission is Wednesday, September 20.

Welcome Back

  • Start Strong YU. Classes start tomorrow! Check out the Start Strong YU website for key resources, tips and need-to-know information to prepare for the upcoming term.

  • My Online Services. Complete upcoming tasks such as paying term fees to stay ahead this term.

  • Refund Tables. If you need to drop a course after the beginning of the term, there may be a financial penalty. Check the refund tables page for more information.

  • Academic Advising. Chat with advisors to make informed decisions about your degree options in your academic career.

  • York University Scholarship Portal. Explore awards, scholarships and bursaries to fund your degree by browsing York’s financial support options. Students are eligible for various awards, even without demonstrating financial need. The deadline to complete your SFP is Friday, September 15, 11:59 p.m. ET. If you have any questions, contact the Scholarships and Bursaries team at bursary@yorku.ca  

  • Student Advisory Committee. The Office of the University Registrar (OUR) is recruiting students to the Student Advisory Committee (SAC) to students with diverse backgrounds and experiences together to share their thoughts on OUR projects, policies and initiatives.  Applications deadline is Friday, September 29.
