This tool lets you view awards, scholarships, prizes and bursaries offered at York University. Take a few moments to search for awards you may be eligible for: you can search by Faculty, award type, activity level or type in the name of an award that you may be familiar with. Unless otherwise stated, all full-time, part-time and mature students are eligible for all the awards in the system so long as they meet the published criteria.

The Enbridge Inc. Scholarships

Description
The Enbridge Inc. Scholarships were established to provide students pursuing an undergraduate degree with financial support to obtain a university education. Applicants must be continuing students who are commencing Year 2 of undergraduate study (have completed at least 24 York credits) with a minimum 7.50 cumulative grade point average. The awards are allocated as follows: one award will be given to an Aboriginal student, one will be given to a student currently enrolled in the Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change and the third award will be given to a student currently enrolled in the Faculty of Science. Recipients must also be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons, residents of Ontario and demonstrate financial need.
Application Process
To receive consideration for this award, students must submit an on-line application to the Office of Student Financial Services at www.yorku.ca/osfs/bursaries.shtml. Students with disabilities have the option of submitting a paper application. Paper copies of the application are available at disability service providers throughout campus.

  2. Scholarships are based on academic merit. Therefore, students with high academic standing are encouraged to apply.
  3. Awards are based on both academic merit and financial need. Therefore, students with high academic standing and financial need are encouraged to apply.

5. Description

Details about the award's origins, purpose, and eligibility requirements. For example, some awards may require a minimum credit enrolment, a certain grade point average (GPA), enrolment in a specific Faculty, or a certain citizenship status.
