Description
the Brazilian Ball Fine Arts Awards will be available to students entering their 3rd or 4th year of study, majoring in any discipline within the School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design (AMPD). These awards consist of 14 awards (two awards for each of the seven programs) valued at $2,250 each and 3 awards valued at $4500 each available to students pursuing work and projects of an interdisciplinary nature that cut across more than one program of study. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must have a minimum gpa of 7.00 in their major and be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons, and residents of Ontario who demonstrate financial need.
Application Process
Applicants must submit the Student Financial Profile (SFP) available at http://sfs.yorku.ca/services/sfp. In addition, applicants wishing to be considered for the awards valued at $4500, must include a personal statement on the SFP outlining how their work and/or projects cut across more than one program of study.
