Atena Arabsalmany Memorial Scholarship

Description
The Atena Arabsalmany Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to undergraduate female students enrolled in the Space Engineering program in the Lassonde School of Engineering at York University. To be eligible students must meet the 7.5 grade point average requirement, be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person, an Ontario resident and demonstrate financial need. The Atena Arabsalmany Memorial Scholarship was established in loving memory of Atena Arabsalmany who was a 3rd year Space Engineering student at York University when she was tragically killed in 2008. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage female students to pursue careers in aerospace engineering and reinforce the status of women in this field.

To be considered for this award, submit the Student Financial Profile available at http://sfs.yorku.ca/aid/sfp/. Students with permanent disabilities can submit a paper application form available from a registered campus service provider.
