Fees

Academic fees are charged on either a per-course or per-program basis, depending on the Faculty or program in which you enrol, and include tuition costs as well as essential and non-essential supplementary fees. Course and program fees are subject to approval by York's Board of Governors in accordance with the tuition framework guidelines set by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and are subject to change.

Fees are charged at either the domestic or international rate, depending on your fee status. The domestic rate applies to Canadian citizens, permanent residents and certain exempted international students; the international rate applies to most international students. If you are an international student and at some point become a landed immigrant or a Canadian citizen, you will need to advise the Registrarial Services office of your status change if you wish to pay the domestic rate.

For full details on eligibility for domestic status, time frames and processes for changing your status, visit the Academic Tuition Fee Categories page located under Financial Information on the current Undergraduate Calendar.

Associated course fees may be applicable if you enrol in a course(s) in which you will be receiving printed materials and/or supplies.
